Frequently asked questions

Do I need a website to use it?

No. Every form has a public link on a page hosted by Postal. You can send the link by message, social media or email, or put a button on your site.

What is email confirmation?

It's double opt-in. The person gets an email with a link and only joins the audience after clicking. Until then, the response appears as “Awaiting confirmation”. We recommend turning it on for public forms.

Can I close the form on a date or after a number of responses?

Yes. You set a closing date or a response limit, choose the closed-form message, and can block repeated responses from the same address.

Does the “Sent with Postal” badge appear?

It appears in the form footer. Hiding the badge is available on some plans.

Can I get a notice for every response?

Yes. Choose who receives it, including people outside the team, who confirm the address first. The notice can go out right away or in a daily digest.
