Editor and templates
Build beautiful emails, without writing code.
Start from a ready-made template, swap texts, images and buttons and test it in your own inbox before publishing. The result works for campaigns, automations and your system's email.
- Open signup, start on the Free plan

How it works
A block editor
Edit without touching HTML
Each part of the email is a block that you edit in a side panel, without touching HTML.
Ready-made blocks for every part of the email
Insert headings, text, buttons, images, lists, testimonials, products with price, coupons and a header with logo. Move, duplicate or remove blocks at any time.
- 19 block types, in five groups
- Colors, spacing and corners for each section, and the font for the whole email
- Hide a block on mobile or on desktop
- Need something very specific? There is an HTML block
70+ templates to get you started
The gallery has ready-made layouts for welcome, newsletter, promotion, abandoned cart, order shipped, password reset and more. Pick one, preview it and adapt it your way.
- 14 categories, with search
- Happy with it? Use “Save as template” and the whole team reuses the layout (how many templates you can save depends on the plan)
- The email is built with tables, the format inboxes tend to accept
Each person gets the email with their own name
Write the variable where the data should appear, like the name in the subject. If the data is missing, the default value you set is used.
- In campaigns, first name, last name, email and contact properties are filled in automatically, with a default value written on the spot: FIRST_NAME|cliente
- In templates, new variables are detected automatically in the subject and content, and the default value stays in the variables list
- Without a default value, the variable is required when sending
Test, publish and roll back when you need to
You edit a draft and only publish when you're ready: sends keep using the last published version. If you make a mistake, restore an earlier version and publish again.
- Desktop and mobile preview, inside the editor
- Test email to up to 5 addresses, with [Test] in the subject
- Published versions are kept, with a button to restore the version into the draft
From template to send in five steps
The result works for campaigns, automations and the email your system sends.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know HTML?
No. The visual editor handles everything. You can edit the HTML by hand if you want, but then the visual editor is no longer used for that email, and Postal warns you first.
What happens if I edit a template that's already in use?
Nothing changes for recipients. You edit the draft, and sends only start using the new content when you publish.
Can I reuse a layout of mine?
Yes. In any email, use “Save as template”. The layout is saved in “My templates”, available to the whole team.
Is there help writing the text?
There's a “Write with AI” option that creates the subject, preview text and content from a short description. It uses AI credits, which depend on the plan, and only appears when it's available on your account.
